Matiaburj College was established in 2008 through the initiative of several enthusiastic and socially committed local individuals with the aim of spreading higher education among the youth of the Metiabruz area, particularly first-generation learners. Special gratitude is owed to Dilip Sen and other eminent personalities whose vision led to the laying of the foundation stone on 20 January 2008 after overcoming many challenges.
